Black Shards
A spatial rupture exploring perception of danger, fragmentation, and internalized violence.
The installation emerges from a central rupture and expands outward, dispersing fragments across the surrounding space. It resembles an explosion, yet remains suspended, as if frozen at the moment of impact.
The work explores the perception of danger. From a distance, the sharp forms suggest aggression and instability, but on closer inspection, the material reveals itself as soft and fragile.
This shift destabilizes the viewer’s response, exposing how fear is often constructed through anticipation rather than reality.
