Chartreuse 2023
A constructed memory
The installation functions as a residue of experience. It gathers fragments of a lived moment, holding them in a state between presence and disappearance.
Bottles and scattered paper evoke consumption and erasure - memory as something that is absorbed, dissolved, and partially lost. What remains is not narrative, but trace.
Mirrors interrupt the space, producing unstable reflections. A fallen branch cuts through the composition like a body or a line in motion. It introduces direction within dispersion, suggesting a trajectory that continues beyond the visible moment.
The work is composed yet not controlled. Elements are arranged collectively, but their final relationships emerge through chance, allowing the installation to exist between intention and accident.
What remains is a quiet state - a moment of transition, where perception becomes fully anchored in the present, while simultaneously slipping away.
