MAT' / OVULE

An immersive structure exploring the ambiguity between intimacy and violence, origin and instability.

The installation takes the form of a suspended, self-contained structure that evokes both a body and an environment. It operates as a threshold, a space that suggests origin while remaining unstable and unresolved.

Inside, visitors encounter whispered maternal voices, creating a sense of proximity and reassurance. This intimacy contrasts with the surrounding structure, which appears dense, chaotic, and almost overwhelming.

The work brings together opposing conditions - protection and anxiety, care and violence - allowing them to coexist within a single spatial experience.
